BRAZIL BECOMES NEWEST TEMPLAR COUNTRY IN SOUTH AMERICA

In beautiful Recife, Brazil, the Grand Priory of Saint Joan of Arc created the Brasiliensis Templum

Commandery of Dom Matias of Albuquerque. This Commandery is the focal point for a Grand Priory

To be created for Brazil. Already in the recruiting stage is the Creation of a Commandery in Natal and

in Sao Paulo. The Commandery was recruited by Count Chev. Jose Carlos Viana, KCTJ. The following

Postulants entered the Order and brought the initial membership to 12 Knights and Dames:

A sumptuous Knights Dinner was held at the O Amadeo Restaurant, where all members of the

Grand Priory got to know each other better. Plans for the installation of a Commandery in Natal were

finalized. Chev. Eduardo Dantas was selected as Commander for this joint effort. June 12, 2010

was selected as the target date for the Investiture of the new unit. Information will be distributed as

soon as events are confirmed.

St. Joan Represented at Special Reception

A Reception was held in Chicago, Illinois honoring

our Religious protector, the Blessed Theodocious,

given by Her Serene Highness Renate, Princess zu

Windisch-Graetz, Dame Grand Cross and Brigadier

General Patrick Rea, Grand Commander, OSMTH.

In attendance were members of local units of the Grand Priory of the United States, OSMTH United Nation dignitaries (specifically Chev. Randall Tietz, GCTJ), and your Grand Prior.

This was a wonderful evening of Camaraderie and exchange of Templar Lore and Information. The goals of the various Templar entities were openly discussed and one could get an insight into the vast number of charitable activities that abound in OSMTH.

SJA GP visits Priory of Saint Norbert, GP-USA

Your Grand Prior had the opportunity to visit with the Priory of Saint Norbert in Chicago. He attended the installation of a new Prior for the ensuing year.

This was a very interesting visit. Saint Norbert furnishes many of the OSMTH leaders to International posts that are offered to our Knights templar Organization. It is always remarkable to visit an area where much of today’s Templar leadership can be found. You need go no further to get answers to many of our pending questions. KUDO’s to all the Saint Norbert Templars!!
